Na Mele Henoheno means "cherished songs". This is truly a precious collection of authentic, traditional Hawaiian music. In 1993 this album won Best Anthology album of the year. Dennis sings in the high, clear falsetto style that has made him one of the great singers in Hawaii today.

He was the lead singer in the popular Hui `Ohana group for many years with his cousins, Ledward and Nedward Ka`apana. He sings these songs beautifully, as they should be sung, from the heart and soul. Traditional Hawaiian music in the finest leo ki`eki`e (falsetto) fashion ever recorded. All the aunties love to dance to these!!
